Ever rewatch a TV series where you know a character comes back, but when he/she dies you still get all sad? And then all those characters have to go home and leave everything behind, and you just want to cry even more. But I am a manly-man, and I held back my tears. If you're wondering, I'm watching the series finale of Transformers Prime. Yes, there is a movie that comes just after it, but that doesn't make the feels any better.

So, as most of you likely know,¹ fairly recently iisaw did a rewrite of The Celestia Code prior to getting it set up with Print On Demand provider Lulu. Yes I have a copy, yes it is still awesome. So do the rewrites alter my perception of the story at all? Well, let’s see what we got.

That, and I've found this really great series that starts with The Celestia Code. It's amazing. If you don't believe me, then look at the ratio of likes/ dislikes: 2032 vs 40.

Thought this blog series was long dead? So did I!

Overall, my passion for this fandom has definitely cooled over the past few years, and even my enthusiasm for the endless possibilities of fanfiction has ebbed. Over this past year or so, I even started picking up real, non-pony books again (and finishing them!) in situations where I'd traditionally be reading a fanfic on my phone instead.
